In the year 2003, Pastor and Sister Lachica took a step off faith and obeyed the call to pastor a church. At the same time as raising their then newborn daughter, the couple planted a church in the city of San Clemente. They have never been after a fame or large offerings, but their sole mission has always been to save souls. After many years and several rented facilities, the Spirit and Truth Lighthouse church officially moved to the city of Mission Viejo in the first building that they owned. Thanks be to God for His favor and guiding hand upon our leaders.
We are an Apostolic Pentecostal church that believes every word in the Bible. Following the example of Jesus Christ, we care about you no matter your age, culture, or background. Everyone is welcome here to receive healing, teaching, or simply a touch from God.
It is our purpose to obey God’s Word to seek and to save the lost. We firmly believe that the Savior Jesus Christ shed His blood to save every person, and every individual is worth saving.
We live every day striving to be led by the Spirit of God in any event or decision that we make. We understand that He is the giver of salvation and that His purpose is the only one that matters.
We value the Word of God as the absolute source of truth that is able to save us, empower us and transform us completely.

Our faith is based solely on the Word of God, and not on man-made beliefs. We believe that every practice we teach must be backed up by the Bible. You are welcome to contact us with any questions not answered in the following topics.
The Scriptures state that there is one true, living God, and His name is Jesus. “Hear O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord.” (Deut. 6:4) We believe in the oneness of God, and believe that Jesus Christ was the Father manifested in a human form to die on a cross for the sins of mankind. He believed that you were worth dying for, even while you were still living in sin!
We affirm that the Bible is the infallible and inspired Word of God, the final and ultimate authority. Being without contradiction or error, it is the source of all doctrine, instruction, correction, and reproof. In it is contained all that is needed for a Christian to live a holy life, and for a lost sinner to find salvation. Join us as we continue learning to rightly divide the Word of truth.
The only true God came to earth in the form of a mortal body to sacrifice Himself in our place. His death on the cross was to save us from sin. “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” (Acts 2:38-39) Once we have turned away from our sin and been fully submersed in water in Jesus’ name alone, it is promised that we will be filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. This is the born-again experience needed to enter into the Kingdom of God.
The Holy Scripture teaches all needs to repent which is fully turning away from sin. We are commanded to be water baptized by total immersion in the name of Jesus, as a symbol of Christ’s death and burial. It is a declaration to the world that we have died from our sins, and that Jesus’ blood is now our protective covering. He died in our place, so that our sins can be, not only forgiven, but also remitted.
In John chapter 3, Jesus explains that without being born again of the water and the spirit, you cannot see or enter into His kingdom. Being born again of the water happens through baptism in Jesus name, and receiving the Holy Spirit is to be born again of the spirit. This Gift is for anyone who desires to have it!
The journey does not end after being born again, for that is merely its beginning. Life is an ongoing process of becoming more and more Christ-like every single day. While it may not always be easy, God gives us the grace to do His will. If we rely on His strength and not our own, anything is possible!
Marriage is a holy covenant between a man and woman, joined together as one. It is the foundation of families, communities, and nations. Once we have been born again, Jesus counts us as part of His family. Because you have taken on His name in water baptism and been filled with His Spirit, you become not only his friend, but His child.
Psalm 150 is one of the many Scriptures which instruct us on how to worship God. We are to use instruments and dance as praise to Him. The Bible instructs us to lift up our voice to sing and praise Him. Clapping and shouting are also both Bible forms of worship to God. A miracle-working God deserves the biggest and best praise!
